Midwestern by nature and Southern by nurture, I majored in religion in undergrad but was definitely not going to seminary and was for sure never going to be a pastor. (Wanna guess how well that plan went?) Since then I’ve lived in seven different states, doing ministry in places from traditional congregations to camps and conference centers and college campus ministries. Currently based in western North Carolina, I remain convinced that the Holy Spirit is alive and on the move. But being a person is messy sometimes (most of the times?)…so let’s be together while we try and figure it out.
